Wetlands

It is the purpose and intent of the Volusia County Wetland Ordinance to provide for the protection, maintenance, enhancement, and utilization of wetlands in Volusia County.

A wetland alteration permit is generally required for impacts to county jurisdictional wetlands and their upland buffers. Since wetland permits are handled differently depending on whether the proposed development is residential or non-residential, please use the appropriate application below.
