Volusia County EMS receives 80,000 calls for service each year and transports 62,000 to area hospitals. We are home to 47 miles of beaches which includes "The Worlds Most Famous Beach", Daytona Beach. We are also home to "The World Center of Racing" at the Daytona International Speedway. Volusia County is a center for Tourism with more then 10.2 million visitors each year. Visitors come to participate in events such as the Daytona 500, Bike Week, Spring Break, Coke Zero Sugar 400, Jeep Beach, and Biketoberfest to name a few.
