Harriet Blum grew up in Miami and after graduating from the University of Florida, moved to Louisiana, where she spent the next 44 years as a photographer. She moved to Ormond Beach in 2015 to be closer to family and now spends her time between Florida and Louisiana.
Blum’s photographic style has been described as romantic peacefulness, ethereal and dreamy. Her primary subjects are trees and landscapes, which she photographs in black and white and then hand-tints.
Her work is in many health care institutions, museums, commercial and residential properties across the country and overseas.
