“My art relies on an understanding of the interplay and interdependence among art, architecture and engineering. The design approach for ‘Sol Tracker’ was to focus on the entire entrance atrium by utilizing dichroic glass and aluminum to take full advantage of the natural and artificial light. These elements produce a kinetic experience of form, shadow and color as the viewer moves through the spaces and the sun transits across the sky. The thematic focus is water and light.”
