“I work in series, investigating the quirky relationships of men and women and the lush botanicals and birds of our region. I have used the abstract patterns found on butterfly wings like a riff in jazz, allowing the viewer to take his own journey, tell his own story. All art has a story. I love telling mine in the time-honored medium of tapestry.” - Becky Stevens
