Steve Vaughn’s panoramic photographs are displayed on the walls of numerous Florida corporations and private residences. One of them has even been displayed on a restroom wall at a Hess service station.

Based at Tropics Gallery in Winter Park, he also exhibits at outdoor art shows and has been poster artist for the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, the Mount Dora Arts Festival, the Maitland Art Festival and the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival. One-man shows have included the Florida Museum of Natural History ad the University of Florida and the First Street Gallery in Neptune Beach.

He became an artist and photographer after a 30-year editing career in the newspaper business. During 25 years at The Orlando Sentinel, he was sports editor, managing editor, and then executive editor from 1980 to 1992. However, you’re not likely to find him at one of those long meetings. Or wearing a long-sleeve white shirt and neck tie.
