Pavilion rental FAQs

How many people does the pavilion hold?  Varies on location. Go to the website and look at the pavilion map.

Can we get a refund?  If you give a minimum of 48 hours with a valid reason.  The process usually takes 2 to 3 weeks and will come in the form of a paper check mailed to the applicant.

How do I get a Special Event Application? (Required for all groups over 50 people) Coastal staff will email you the application.  Fill out, sign and email back with insurance and map, (if necessary).  If you have any questions on insurance call Risk Management and speak with Mr. Spencer.  386-736-5963

Can we bring a grill on a vehicle trailer?  As long as it does not block any of the normal park patrons access.

Is electricity provided?  No, all pavilion structures are primitive and do not have electricity.

I want to get married? Is the wedding on the beach or at a park?  If at the beach, call Lynea Lewis 386-239-6415 or email If at a coastal park, all groups over 50 require a special event application. 

I want to reserve a fire ring: Call Beach safety 386-239-6415. No fire pits during Turtle Nesting Season.  May 1st thru Oct.

  • Most of the logistical questions such as how far from the water is the pavilion located can be answered by applicant looking on the pavilion map.
  • Pavilion rental fee does not cover the park entrance fee.
