Mosquito Control Products Used
Mosquito Control uses a variety of larvicide and adulticide products as part of our integrated pest management program to control mosquito populations and reduce risk of mosquito-borne illness. All are approved industry standard products used in the United States to manage mosquito populations, registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and applied by trained and state-licensed technicians. As stated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), When used according to product label instructions, larvicides and adulticides do not harm, people, pets, or the environment. Residents can be added to our courtesy notification list for adulticide spraying using the everbridge notification system: Register to receive notifications

Adulticide Product List
Adulticide products are applied after sunset or before sunrise when adult mosquitoes are most active. The most common method of adulticiding is ultra-low volume (ULV) spraying. ULV spraying is the process of putting very small amounts of liquid into the air as a fine mist of droplets. These droplets float on the air currents and quickly eliminate mosquitoes that come into contact with them. We do not spray on a schedule, instead operations are planned based upon surveillance data.
