Enterprise Local Plan
Enterprise is an unincorporated community in Volusia County situated on the northern shore of Lake Monroe flanked by the cities of DeBary and Deltona. In order to preserve the unique characteristics of the Enterprise community, Volusia County adopted The Enterprise Local Plan on July 24, 2003. The Enterprise Local Plan is contained in the Volusia County Comprehensive Plan. It provides policies that support the protection and enhancement of the natural, historic, cultural and scenic values of the community.
To further support the intent of the Local Plan, the Enterprise Community Overlay Zone was adopted in October, 2009. The overlay zone establishes specific standards related to non-residential and new residential development within the designated Local Plan Area. The standards address architectural design, setbacks and building placement, lighting, signage, landscaping, accessory structures and fences.
